Terms & Conditions

Please find below our terms and conditions for our regular Oven Cleaning Services.

PRICING

Oven Cleaning Phil reserves the right to amend the initial quotation if the client’s original requirements change, or following inspection of the appliance(s) at the property.

ACCESS

The client must provide access to electricity and running water at the premises during the scheduled service. If this is not available, a cold clean will be carried out, which may impact the quality of the final results.

The client is responsible for providing access to the property at the agreed time. If keys are supplied, they must open and close all locks without requiring specialist tools or effort. Failure to provide access may result in a £50 non-refundable call-out fee.

All ovens must be in reasonable working order and connected to gas or electricity.

PAYMENT

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due immediately upon completion of the work.

Payment can be made via cash or bank transfer (BACS) before the operative leaves the premises.

If payment via bank transfer or card is agreed in advance, it must be arranged and completed no later than the day before the scheduled clean. Oven Cleaning Phil reserves the right to cancel the appointment if advance payment details are not received.

CANCELLATIONS

Clients may cancel or reschedule an appointment free of charge by providing at least 48 hours’ notice.

A 50% cancellation fee may apply for cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice. Payment of this fee may be collected via bank transfer or in person if required.

Oven Cleaning Phil reserves the right to refuse any job where the condition of the appliance or working environment is deemed hazardous to health or safety.

We also reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking in the event of accidents, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.

CLAIMS

Refunds will not be issued once the cleaning service has been completed.

All work is deemed accepted unless the client provides written notice of a complaint to Oven Cleaning Phil within 24 hours of the clean. We will investigate any concerns and aim to resolve them to the client’s satisfaction, or to a reasonable professional standard.

The client agrees to allow Oven Cleaning Phil the opportunity to return and inspect or re-clean any disputed areas before involving a third party.

In the event of damage caused directly by us, we will either repair the item or offer a credit toward its current value as a replacement. Identical replacement will be attempted where possible but is not guaranteed.

To prevent accidental damage, we ask that all irreplaceable or highly valuable items (whether sentimental or financial) be safely stored away and excluded from cleaning.

We may require access to the property within 24 hours of any claim being made in order to resolve the issue.

Oven Cleaning Phil is not responsible for pre-existing damage such as ingrained stains, burns, or carbon build-up that cannot be removed using industry-standard methods and safe cleaning products.

INSURANCE

All work carried out by Oven Cleaning Phil is covered by Public Liability Insurance.

We strive to deliver the highest standard of cleaning possible. However, for ovens that haven’t been cleaned in several years or since purchase, we cannot guarantee removal of all ingrained or baked-on dirt.
